Born: Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria
Raised: Abeokuta/Lagos, Nigeria & Detroit, Michigan USA
Lives & Works: Berlin | Chicago | L.A. | Detroit

My work as a cultural producer/programmer has ranged from film festival programming to public education projects with institutions such as; Sundance Film Festival, Doha Int. Film Festival & Art Institute in Chicago. As an independent curator, I analyze contemporary modes of being; from subcultural organizing(s) to hybrid and postcolonial identities emerging within the global perspective. I’ve worked as an educator form the School of the Art Institute Chicago, University of Illinois, and the University of Philosophical Research, where I focus on user experience with the audience and viewer interpretation as a vital component to pedagogy.
